All of our Dance Concerts are available to stream On-Demand on any device, anytime, on Vimeo. Blu-ray copies are also available.

We shoot our dance concerts in 4K Ultra High Definition or at a resolution of 8294400 pixels. The final video is produced in 1080HD or at a resolution of 2073600 pixels. We have already wiped off a quarter of the data (colour, brightness, detail) of the recorded image. However, Blu-ray can only support up to this resolution. As do most mobile devices and the majority of HD TV’s. If we then try and squeeze the image that is made up of 8294400 pixels (4K) down to a resolution that a DVD can handle we then lose one 9th of the image that we originally started with. That means low-quality image. DVD can not handle the large extremes in lighting conditions that dance concerts are known for. That’s why we no longer provide this obsolete media.
Blu-ray players can play DVD’s, but DVD players do not play Blu-rays. Sony playstation ps3 and above play blu-ray, Xbox one (all 3 models) play blu-ray. If you want to future proof your concert video, consider Vimeo. It’s free to join, your video can be viewed on all devices, you can watch offline or stream online anytime and the platform will process conversions as technology changes. As the option to watch offline is available there is no reason to need to download other than to make a copy which infringes our copyright. We want to deliver the best possible vision of dance concerts. We put a lot of work into our editing to make sure we represent the dancers and choreographers in the best possible light.
